We advertise to make as many people as possible aware of Erskine and what we do, and to encourage them to support us, especially at key times of the year such as Remembrance and Armed Forces Day.

In autumn 2010 a new advertising campaign was developed for Erskine. It features Alex, one of our residents, and Paul, a younger serving soldier. The campaign is based on a war poem written specially for Erskine. It highlights the on-going need for Erskine, the work that we do and encourages people to make donations.

The campaign included TV, press and online advertising, all of which are monitored and fully evaluated to ensure they’re effective. Following the success of the autumn campaign, it’s being re-run this June 2011 to coincide with Armed Forces Day.
